Atlantic Threads Podcast | Episode 3: Cindy Sissokho & Anne-Lise Agossa
Atlantic Threads is a podcast developed from the homonymous project created by Pivô Arte e Pesquisa in partnership with the African Artists’ Foundation. The initiative brought together Gabriela de Matos, Tiganá Santana, Anne-Lise Agossa, and Olufèmi Hinson Yovo — artists from Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire, and Benin — for a residency as part of the Institut français x Cité internationale des arts program, in Paris, France.
The podcast brings together the artists’ reflections on the residency process, addressing themes such as ancestry, diaspora, memory, and language. Atlantic Threads is a project by Pivô in partnership with the African Artists’ Foundation and the Cité internationale des arts, with the support of the French Embassy in Brazil and the Institut français, within the framework of the France-Brazil Season 2025.
