https://www.helosanvoy.com/ Helô Sanvoy was born in Goiânia-GO in 1985. He lives and works in São Paulo. He is graduated in Visual Arts from Universidade Federal de Goiás (FAV/UFG) and Master Student in the Department of Arts of ECA/USP. Sanvoy is a member of the collective Grupo EmpreZa, developing research on the poetics of the body and its derivatives. Exhibitions with the Grupo EmpreZa: “Vesuvius/Communal Earth: Marina Abramović + MAI” Sesc Pompéia. (2015-SP); “Dark Mofo” Museum of Old and New Art – Australia (2016); “Eu como você” Museum of Art of Rio. (2014-RJ). In your individual work, he seeks meanings through different modes of reading, impossibilities of communication and silencing processes. He received awards such as 23nd Salon Anapolino of art (2017-GO) and Salon of fine arts of Suzano (2011-SP). He did solo exhibitions at Museum of Contemporary Art of Goiás (2014-GO); House of Culture of Latin America CAL/UNB (2014-DF); Referência Art Gallery (2018-DF) and Andrea Render Contemporary Art (2017, 2018-SP). He has works in collections: Museum of Art of Rio Grande do Sul (MARGS-RS); Museum of Art of Rio (MAR-RJ); Museum of Contemporary Art of Goiás (MAC-GO); House of Culture of Latin America (CAL/UnB-DF) and Marcos Amaro Foundation (FMA). Artistic residencies: he participated in Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) artistic residency program (2016) and Cleaning the House, Marina Abramovic method (2015).
