Between July 24 and 31, Pivô Copan hosts “Mete Bala,” an activation by Maldito Paris, the French-Brazilian brand founded by Francisco Terra in 2021. Marking the brand’s arrival in Brazil, the project transforms Pivô Copan with a pop-up store and exhibition, open to the public from July 25 to 31, as well as an invitation-only fashion show on July 24 (Friday).
The pop-up store and fashion show present the collection Fantastic Fashion Fetish, a dialogue between Brazil’s cult of the body and the tradition of French cabaret. Meanwhile, the exhibition “FFF: Fantastic Fashion Fetish” traces the history of fashion icons that became not only objects of desire but also vehicles for eroticized—and at times deified—fantasies. The exhibition is curated by Adrian Kammarti, who holds a PhD in Art History from the Sorbonne and teaches at the Institut Français de la Mode, with cultural production by Alban Sénault and support from the French Consulate in Brazil.
