It is with great joy that we announce the selected artists for the three cycles of the Pivô Research 2022 residency program, as well as the curators in charge for each cycle:

The selection process for Pivô Research 2022 revealed a series of questions that have mobilized the practice of contemporary artists. This process put us in contact with the richness and diversity of current artistic production, despite the lack of support in terms of public policies for the Visual Arts field. We came across sharp investigations that find paths and invent ways to respond and question the malaise that afflicts our times – understanding the particularities of each territory, divisions, histories, debts, and fictions.
Members of the jury strove to gather a representative group of artists, taking into account the proposals presented for the program and the relevance/quality of their artistic research, as well as the diversity of identities, national and international, of racial-ethnic origins, gender, regionality, and social and cultural context.
We thank each of the applicants, who generously opened spaces for reflection and moved our bodies.
