Pivô Celebrates Another Year of the São Pedro Bonfire at Boulevard Suíço
On June 27, Pivô Boulevard will host another edition of the São Pedro Bonfire at Boulevard Suíço, starting at 5 pm, in the Nazaré neighborhood of Salvador.
For the third consecutive year, Pivô joins the initiative of Maria Moniz, a resident of Boulevard Suíço who annually lights the bonfire to share traditional foods and celebrate with the neighborhood community.
As the sun sets, the bonfire will already be lit in front of the historic house, accompanied by plenty of forró, xote, and baião. The food and drinks table will be organized collaboratively and will also feature a partnership with Lina Cozinha, led by Lídia Sá, who will prepare special festive treats.
The São Pedro Bonfire traditionally marks the closing of Salvador’s June festivities, when streets and neighborhoods become spaces for gathering and collective celebration. In keeping with this tradition, Pivô strengthens its ties with the Nazaré community and its surroundings, inviting neighbors and local residents to celebrate together.
