Pivô and MAC_BAHIA host the closing of Module #3 of the Creative Lab: Art and Technology in the Museum with a 3D modeling experience
Pivô Salvador and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Bahia (MAC_BAHIA), affiliated with the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage (IPAC), held the Open Lab of Module #3 – 3D Modeling and Accessibility for Art on April 23 (Thursday), from 5pm to 8pm, at the Multiuse Room of MAC_BAHIA.
The event marked the conclusion of Module #3, led by Marco Henrique, graphic designer and 3D artist, winner of ColetaHack (2024). During the Open Lab, course participants presented their projects within a Modeling Lab, where visitors will be able to experience the creation and printing of small 3D objects.
The Creative Lab: Art and Technology in the Museum is an initiative by Pivô Salvador and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Bahia (MAC_BAHIA) aimed at the training of young people and adults in the creative economy, with a focus on inclusion and the strengthening of local culture. The project offers four free courses between August 2025 and June 2026, exploring intersections between artistic practices and digital technologies.
This project was selected through the Bahia National Aldir Blanc Policy Open Calls and is financially supported by the Government of the State of Bahia, through the State Secretariat of Culture via PNAB, under the Ministry of Culture – Federal Government.
