Lives and works in São Paulo, SP

Curator, writer, researcher, griot heiress and Shaman, narrator, singer, ancestral chronicler, cultural manager. Master in Art History and specialist in history and Architecture from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and Bachelor in Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Member of the African Heritage Commission for the recognition of the Cais do Valongo region as a World Heritage site (UNESCO).

She was manager of all cultural centers in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro from November 2015 until January 2017. Pedagogical coordinator of the Free School of Visual Arts – Parque Lage between 2018 and 2019. Curator of the 10th International Biennial SIART, in Bolivia and artistic director of the Museum of Moderna Art of Rio de Janeiro (MAM Rio) between 2020 and 2023. Currently, she is a chronicler of “Contemporary &” and curator of the Bienal das Amazônias 2023 . He works in the development of exhibitions and meanings of works of art and artists, guidance of artistic processes, curatorship of exhibitions, art teaching, having as a precedent in coordination in artistic and narrative education the reinforcement of the relationship of passage and capture of oral knowledge.
Gasworks, Jan van Eyck Academie, NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore and Medialab Matadero. He has given Solo and two-person presentations at Gasworks, Kunstinstituut Melly, Bonnefanten Museum, National University Singapore Museum and de Appel. His works and films have been exhibited at institutions and festivals including Tate Modern, Liverpool Biennial, Videobrasil, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Seoul Mediacity Biennale, Times Museum, EYE Film Museum, Onassis Stegi and Bienalsur. He is the 2023 winner of the Paulo Cunha e Silva Award and the Concert Art Award, and the 2021 winner of the Foundwork Artist Award.
