Anai Vera
Anais Vera is Paraguayan and lives in Brazil. She studied Biology at UFMS, but changed her profession when she got her master's degree in Anthropology at UFSC. She supports and advises organizations that work on behalf of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. She worked for ten years in the public sector, in the Ministry of Education and Sciences, and in the National Secretary of Culture of Paraguay, participating in the collective construction of public policies with and for indigenous peoples. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Social Anthropology at PPGAS/USP, where she researches Guarani ethnology and that of other indigenous peoples of the South American lowlands. Anais has participated in ‘Cosmovisions on Land and Entangled Futures’ em 2023.
