Anne-Lise Agossa is an Abidjan and London-based designer whose practice spans art, architecture and design. Rooted in the complex relationship between culture and space, Anne-Lise’s practice is focused on bridging the gap between past and future, within and around the African context. She is particularly influenced by the geo-cultural landscape of West Africa, the Sahel and their oral and material traditions.
Raised between several West African countries while being influenced by elements of Western culture and her travels, Anne-Lise’s body of work explores the parallels and in-betweenness of cultures, identities and their visual markers through form, texture and movement.
