She lives and works in Salvador, Bahia, as a visual artist and ceramist. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in arts from the Federal University of Bahia (2021). Her current research explores the intersections of sculpture, installation, and performance, focusing on the extension of the body through clay and ceramics. By engaging these sensitive realms as a mode of creation, the artist develops projects that view clay as an oracle—a conduit of bodily memories, as well as of collective agency, learning, and personas.
Since 2017, she has participated in group exhibitions within the Bahia art scene, organizing her first solo show, OZCARETA, in 2018 at Espaço Xisto Bahia. Also in 2018, she developed the project Corpo Latente, funded by the PIBEXA – UFBA grant, where she invited other artists to explore the potentials of clay across various artistic languages, including audiovisual, music, sculpture, and performance. In 2019, she participated in the Cleaning the House workshop (Evia, Greece), an immersive experience led by performers Marina Abramovic and Ulay, promoted by the Abramovic Institute (MAI). In 2023, she won first place in the Salão de Artistas sem Galeria (São Paulo, Brazil), and in 2024, she held her second solo exhibition, ENCENA, at the Aliança Francesa da Bahia. Currently, she is the director and founder of Ateliê Zona Fluxus, an art space dedicated to training, creation, and residency programs centered on contemporary potentials in ceramics.
