Claude Adjil

Claude Adjil is a Franco-British curator working internationally, known for her engagement with contemporary and experimental artistic practices. Her curatorial approach is shaped by collaborations with artists who challenge conventions and by a sustained attention to diverse cultural contexts. Adjil has contributed to exhibitions at leading institutions and is recognized for fostering critical dialogue in the field of contemporary art.

Currently a curator at Serpentine Galleries in London, she has been responsible for exhibitions and programs such as On Venus by Patrick Staff and A Time for New Dreams by fashion designer Grace Wales Bonner, as well as Park Nights collaborations with artists including Marianna Simnett, Meriem Bennani, Carrie Mae Weems, Klein, and Yaeji. In 2023, she presented a project by Cecilia Vicuña in Serpentine’s Summer Pavilion, and in the previous year, she conceived a performance by Telfar Clemens in partnership with the collective FAKA. Adjil also works as a curator and producer for the record label Young Turks.
