lives and works at Salvador, Bahia
Born in Palmeiras, Bahia, she lives and works in Salvador, Bahia. She holds a degree in Social Communication from FACOM-UFBA (2018) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the Graduate Program in Visual Arts, focusing on the research line of Artistic Creation Processes (EBA-UFBA). Her research explores autobiography as a methodology to think about the body in imagined territories created from the materialities of clay. This ranges from creating three-dimensional ceramic works to producing pigments resembling watercolor, made from the union of water and earth. By aligning with the essence of the rivers and land of her origins, she creates imagined territories as a way of recognizing herself and also crafting worlds where it is possible to exist.
She has participated in exhibitions such as Casa de Mulheres at the Museum of Modern Art of Bahia (2024), Ocupação PPGAV 2023, Ações e Reações nos Processos Artísticos at the Cañizares Gallery in Salvador (2022), Do right (write) to me curated by Ana Roman and Dainy Tapia at ChaShaMa in New York and the Miami Design District (2021), and Fotografia Amor e Luta published by Revista OLD with national circulation (2019).
