Isadora Soares Belletti

1995, lives and works at Paris, France

Isadora Soares Belletti (Belo Horizonte) is a visual artist based in Paris, France. She studied cinema and communication at FAAP in São Paulo before moving to Paris, where she continued her studies at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, graduating with honors in 2024. Her practice unfolds across film, installation, and text, often interweaving these mediums to create immersive environments in which the experiences of the body and the gaze hold a central place. Her works aim to be vehicles for reflection between the intimate and the political, revealing how personal narratives resonate within broader collective histories. Isadora conceives film not merely as a succession of moving images, but as a sculptural and spatial medium, an entity that extends beyond the screen to inscribe itself in physical space. This inquiry extends to an exploration of materiality itself: elements that are light-sensitive and time-reactive, serving not only as projection tools but as poetic carriers of memory, loss, and transformation.

Her work has been presented at the FRAC Île-de-France, Solar Vila do Conde, Air de Paris gallery, Espacio Temporal, Grande Halle de La Villette, FORMA, DOC, the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Pivô, Galatea, the Museum of Brazilian Art (FAAP), among others. In 2022, she received the Diptyque Grant for her third-year diploma at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. In 2024, Isadora was awarded the FoRTE grant (Fonds régional pour les talents émergents) in the visual arts category, in collaboration with Persona Curada.
