lives and works at Brasília, Federal District
Born in the Federal District, Juliana researches narratives of Amazonian cabocla cosmoperception, a family tradition inherited from her father. A graduate student in the Visual Arts program at UFBA, her artistic investigation began with participation in a popular culture collective, the NZambi angola capoeira group, and in the social movement Passe Livre – DFe. She has dedicated herself to painting, alternative processes in photography, and street work, including mural paintings, graffiti, and lambe-lambe posters.
