lives and works at São Paulo, Brazil
Juno B (Fortaleza, Brazil) is a transdisciplinary artist based in São Paulo. Their practice moves between fictions and trans-species mutations in dialogue with post-industrial adaptive landscapes, exploring relationships between temporality, ecology, and the limits of human experience.
Working across video, photography, sculptural objects, and immersive installations, they develop projects that engage counter-narratives, acts of fabulation, rites of passage, and speculative practices. Their research proposes visual and conceptual syntheses that challenge the boundaries between nature, technology, and imagination.
In 2024–2025, Juno B was selected for the 38th Panorama of Brazilian Art at the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo. They have participated in group exhibitions at institutions including KADIST, Pinacoteca de São Paulo, Pivô, FMAC – Collection d’Art Contemporain de la Ville de Genève, and Pinacoteca do Ceará, among others. They have also undertaken artist residencies in Brazil, Bolivia, and Switzerland.
