lives and works at Salvador, Bahia

Visual artist, researcher, art director, designer, and editor. She graduated in Fine Arts from the Federal University of Bahia (2015) and earned a master’s degree from the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts at the same institution (2023). Since 2016, she has coordinated publication projects for Editora Duna. Since 2014, she has been part of the Tiragem: Laboratório de Livros project, serving as a member of the editorial board and a contributor to Revista Miolo.

Her artistic practice explores the intersections of words and images and investigates transdisciplinary collaborative processes in multi-species collectives. She has participated in numerous art fairs, solo and group exhibitions, and artist residencies, including: Língua Vegetal (Salvador, 2023), Imãntações (Salvador, 2022), Graphic Publications Incubator, RV Cultura e Arte (Salvador, 2018), Toronto Art Book Fair (Toronto, Canada, 2017), O Livro de Artista (Porto, Portugal, 2018), 11th Victor Meirelles National Salon, Santa Catarina Art Museum (2022), QUARTIER AM HAFEN Residency (Cologne, Germany, 2017), Instituto Sacatar Residency (Itaparica, Bahia, 2022).

In 2017, she was nominated for Best Art Direction/Graphic Design at the Latin Grammy Awards for her work with the group Pirombeira. She has received several awards, including the Jorge Portugal Arts Award – Visual Arts (2020) and acquisition awards at the 22nd Cerveira International Art Biennial (Vila Nova de Cerveira, Portugal, 2022) and the 11th Victor Meirelles National Salon (Florianópolis, Brazil, 2022) for her work Etnografia do Barranco (2020–2022).
