Livia Paola Gorresio is an artist, teacher and researcher. Her interest is the poetic potentiality of colors, which serves as a starting point for her drawings, collages, paintings, interactive objects and installations. Her main purpose is to understand and awake the viewer to an experience through the nature of colors. Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism (2006), from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, BR; Master in Fine Arts (2010), by Chelsea College of Art and Design, UK. She is currently a doctoral student in Visual Poetics at the School of Communication and Arts at the University of São Paulo, BR. She exhibited her work at the Royal Academy of Arts, South London Gallery and Wimbledon Space in England, at the Historical Museum of the State of Pará - Lauro Sodré Palace, Art Museum of Goiânia, Art Museum of Piracicaba, Art Museum of Ribeirão Preto and Centro Cultural Dannemann. Participates annually in Art Fairs: Parte and SP Arte, since 2012. She won a prize for participation in the 30th Arte Pará (2011), award for the acquisition of the Pinacoteca de Arte de Rio Claro (2014).
