Artist and researcher. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Artistic Creation Processes at PPGAV-UFBA. He holds a master’s degree in Art Theory and History, with a research project titled “Contemporary Art and the Expanded Field of Food: Creating Networks and a Critical Imaginary around Food Systems.” He is co-author of the Affective Guide to Salvador’s Street Food. He is the author of the photobooks Salvador em Suspensão and Como zelar uma cidade vazia. He is a member of Poro, with whom he has carried out urban interventions in several cities. He received the 2011 Brazil Contemporary Art Award from the São Paulo Biennial Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, as well as the 2012 Funarte Contemporary Art Award.
