maré de matos is a transdisciplinary artist graduated in visual arts at escola guignard (uemg), master in literary theory (ufpe) and currently developing the project museu das emoções in doctorate (usp). exercises the tension between version and truth; single history and polyphonic counter-narratives; power and position. she researches representation and responsibility, invention of race and narrative of the self, imaginary and delirium of modernity, subjectivity and black poetics.
