Mariana Portela Echeverri (Paris, 1986) is a Portuguese-Colombian artist graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (2010) and holds an MFA in Fine Arts from Goldsmiths University of London (2016). She was part of the queer punk scene of Barcelona in the early 2000’s (collaborating with artists like Shu Lea Cheang) which has consolidated her interests in sexuality, post-porn and its intersection with contemporary art and other ficcionated spaces.
