1982, lives and works at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

She has two children, Nuno and Julieta. She dances, curates visual arts, researches, and writes about art and its surroundings. She has collaborated artistically on dance and performance projects such as Que se passou? (2023) and Cartas ao mar (2023). In 2023, she performed with Coletivo Instantâneo at Monstra with the show Piratas e as cinco paisagens. She was selected for Marcelo Evelin’s work, Barricadas, at the Panorama de Dança (RJ), also in 2023. In 2019, she won a curatorial travel grant from Goethe and the French Cultural Service with the project Musée-Museum: 15 dias, 4 horas, uma obra-prima. She conceived Seis gentes dançam no museu, based on her research abroad. The first edition of this project took place at MAM-Rio (Nov. 2021) and featured the participation of dancers and visual artists. Since then, she has been dancing in institutional and independent spaces in Rio de Janeiro, organizing a dance between visual artists, dancers, and sound artists. She has curated individual exhibitions of Ana Hupe, Eloá Carvalho, Pedro Victor Brandão, Luciana Paiva, Maria Baigur, Darks Miranda, Cristina de Pádula, Mayra Redin, among others. Among her collective curations, O trabalho trabalha trabalha and Formas de abandonar o corpo – parte 1 stand out. She worked as executive editor of Arte & Ensaios magazine and currently runs a platform called teteia (teteia.org). Teteia is an experimental art and politics project, a mix of archive, exhibition, and magazine, edited alongside Luana Aguiar and guest artists. Tied to her editorial work, she has translated essays by Hito Steyerl, Chantal Mouffe, Oksana Bulgakova; the founder of SAVVY, curator Bonaventure Soh Bejen Ndikung, and others. In 2022, she accompanied artists’ processes alongside artist Cadu at Escola sem Sítio. She is developing a thesis research on the Museum of Modern Art, Department of Eagles (1968-1972) by artist Marcel Broodthaers. This museum has no fixed location or permanent collection. She has published essays on institutional critique and offered courses on her thesis research work, such as Cinema-Museum. A second edition of Cinema-Museum will take place in October at the Helio Oiticica Arts Center – a project approved by public selection.
