lives and works at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

PV Dias was born in Belém do Pará and currently lives in Rio de Janeiro. The artist holds a degree in Social Communication, a master’s degree in Social Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, and has received training from the School of Visual Arts at Parque Lage, in the Formation and Deformation program in 2019. His research focuses on the structuring of images and stories within a territory and the potential erasures within that structure. Additionally, he has begun exploring sound and visual paths within the Amazonian and Caribbean exchanges. PV Dias has participated in exhibitions such as “Warmth” at One Gee in Fog in Geneva, Casa Carioca at the Museum of Art of Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Salão Arte Pará 2022 at Casa das Onze Janelas in Belém, Arte Contemporânea Habita Antônio Prado at the Museum of Arts of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, and “Masks, What Do I Want With You?” at the Museum of the Republic in Rio de Janeiro, among others.

He has also collaborated with the Amazônia Mapping festival, where his work has been exhibited at Oi Futuro in Rio de Janeiro and at the Rock in Rio festival in a large immersive space of color, light, and sound called Nave. PV Dias works with painting, photography, installation, video, and digital art platforms. His works are part of the collections of the Museum of Art of Rio de Janeiro, the National Museum of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro, Casa Niemeyer at UNB, and the Water Museum in Pará.
