Rodolpho Parigi is part of the generation of Brazilian artists that emerged in the 2000s. His practice moves between abstraction and figuration, drawing on references that span art history — particularly the baroque corporeality of Rubens — as well as graphic design, advertising, pop culture, scientific illustrations, anatomical charts, and music.
His solo exhibitions include Volumen (Galeria Nara Roesler, New York, 2024), Latexguernica (Instituto Tomie Ohtake, São Paulo, 2022), Fancy Performance (Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, 2017), Levitação (Galeria Nara Roesler, São Paulo, 2015), and AtraQue (Galeria Nara Roesler, São Paulo, 2011). Group exhibitions include Histórias LGBTQIAP+ (MASP, São Paulo, 2024), Da humanidade: 100 artistas do acervo (MAB-FAAP, São Paulo, 2020), Da tradição à experimentação (Fundação Iberê Camargo, Porto Alegre, 2019), Histórias da sexualidade (MASP, São Paulo, 2017), and Unanimous Night (CAC, Vilnius, 2017).
His works are part of institutional collections such as Instituto Itaú Cultural, Pinacoteca de São Paulo, MAM-BA, and MAB-FAAP.
