A Black woman and educator since the 1990s, she was a volunteer coordinator for Pastoral da Criança, Pastoral Afro, and Pastoral Carcerária, and the founder of the Acervo da Laje, where she coordinates the educational section.

She curated and coordinated the following artistic exhibitions: “1st Public Exhibition of the Acervo da Laje” (2011) at the former house of Lázaro and Vera, in Novos Alagados; “Suburban Waters in the Acervo da Laje” (2012) at the Centro Cultural Plataforma; “The Beauty of the Suburb” (2013) in the ruins of the old São Braz Textile Factory, in Plataforma; 3rd Bahia Biennial (2014) at the Acervo da Laje, Casa 1; “Affective Memories of the Railroad Suburb of Salvador” (2018) at Subúrbio 360, in the Vista Alegre neighborhood; and participated as a guest at the 31st São Paulo Biennial, “How to Speak of Things That Do Not Exist,” in the “Uses of Art” panel (2014).

She participated in the entire process of the realization and production of the #Ocupa Lajes project in its 1st and 2nd editions (2016, 2018-2019), being responsible for the artistic workshops. She participated in the exchange with students from the Bartlett School of London (2016, 2017, 2018), the Caymmi Music Festival (2017), as well as mediating and mobilizing children, youth, adults, and families for workshops with artists such as Rosa Bunchaft (2015, 2016), Elisabeth Zwimpfer (2017), Mano Penalva (2017), and Rolê Brasil (2016, 2017).

In 2018, she participated in the discussion “Black Narratives: the Visibility of Black Women in the Arts of Bahia.” She produced the experimental animation workshop “Portrait of Wangari Maathai” with Kenyan filmmaker Ng’endo Mukii in 2018. In 2019, she participated in the panel “Art and Social Transformation” at the 5th Bahia Graffiti Festival, was interviewed by Professor Jorge Portugal on the Tô Sabendo Program, in tribute to Black women, and was featured in a BA TV report with Ana Valéria on International Women’s Day in 2019.

She was a producer for “Sound in the Fabric” (2019), with musicians Ida Toninato (Canada), Andrea May, and instrumentalist Edbrass Brasil (Brazil), in the ruins of the old São Braz Textile Factory. She also participated in the 2019 Symposium “Fazeres da Cidade” by the Lugar Comum Group, at FAU – UFBA, at the Acervo da Laje.
