Join us for the Master Class of the Study Program – Cycle I!

At Pivô, on April 25th (Thursday), 7pm, join the class ‘O mundo me disse não. Elas me sussurram sins’,  with Renata Felinto.

In this cycle, the study program returns with a series of meetings and educational activities, providing critical training and accompaniment in collaboration with artists, curators, researchers, critics, and scholars around artistic practice and contemporary artistic debate,featuring exclusive dynamics for Pivô Research residents, and also others  general public.

Synopsis: Expanding beyond the notion of ancestry strictly connected to established religions, the artist will discuss the presence of this expanded concept as an experience materialized in many of her artistic productions. Lineage, whether by blood or chosen through sensitive and/or poetic affinities, is revisited as an inevitable direction and fulfiller of prophecies like that of an Ancestral Future, as mentioned by Ailton Krenak, presented in her aesthetic writefulness, as elaborated by Conceição Evaristo. The spiritual authorization of those who came before is the authorization for continuity.
