On this Thursday, August 10th, Pivô and Cineclube Cortina will host the launch of the film ‘Viriandeua-Virianduba’ Pt. 2 by Ramon Reis, along with the screening of Pt. 1 and a conversation with artists.

As a way to promote a deep dive into the artistic production of Northern Brazil and to celebrate the 1st edition of the Amazon Biennial, the second part of the film will have a simultaneous release at Cineclube Cortina and on the Pivô Satellite exhibition platform.

After the screening, there will be a conversation between artists Ramon Reis (participant of Pivô Satellite Semester I) + PV Dias (participant of Pivô Research Artistic Residency Cycle II). The activity aims to foster interaction between the two artists, sharing their artistic productions and their experiences with the cultural scene of Pará with the audience. The mediation will be conducted by curators Roberta Maiorana and Laura Rago, contributors to Arte Pará, where they will discuss the history of the institution and its position in the art system.
