The exhibition VUADORA presents for the first time in a Brazilian institution a great overview of the work of Paulo Nazareth, one of the most important artists of his generation. The exhibition, curated by Fernanda Brenner and Diane Lima, includes a combination of approximately iconic works from the last two decades and works specially commissioned for the occasion. The first video show integrating the exhibition is curated by Ana Roman and it has a retrospective character, bringing works from the beginning of the artist’s career combined with recent videos. The idea of circulation, fundamental to Paulo Nazareth’s poetics, is the starting point for the selection of the works, which suspend the simple separation between what is “from within” and what is “from outside”.

The next video programs  have a thematic character and dialogue with the works that will be activated during the exhibition. The next work to be activated will be Buraux de Langue. Follow the program on our social media.
