To continue its experimental character and creating an even richer exchange sphere for the participants, Pivô Research 2023 is investing in a more transdisciplinary and porous format of residence. It understands art as a field conformed by multiple languages and knowledge. To this end, it now invites the participation of artists, curators, researchers, educators, critics, writers, managers, publishers and other art agents. The program broadens the residency modalities, being possible to apply for a shorter (3 months) or longer (5 months) stay in each of the cycles, and it proposes a set of public and educational activities that will permeate the entire program such as: master class with prominent guests, individual conversations and orientations with guest speakers, debates, workshops and monthly meetings, as well as permanent curatorial follow-up.

In addition to these changes, Pivô Pesquisa opens two of its for annual occupation. This modality includes participation in the several activities that integrate the two cycles of the program and the use of the individual studio space during the residence. Check the specific announcement.

The general coordination of Pivô Pesquisa 2023 will be in charge of Mônica Hoff, Brazilian artist, curator, and researcher. Hoff was responsible for curatorial supervision of cycle 2 of Pivô Pesquisa 2022 and has extensive experience, nationally and internationally, in curatorial supervision of artists, educators, and in the coordination of public and educational programs.
